The team is accredited by the World Health Organization for HIV resistance since 2005 (managed by Patricia Pinson).
This WHO center has several missions:
-we receive samples from all around the world and more specifically from South countries for sequencing and resistance profiling.
-we dispense training to foreign researchers and medical doctors for monitoring HIV resistance (either on-site or directly in their country of origin)
-we actively participate to HIV workshops organized by the WHO HIV drug resistance laboratory network (NGS, IN genotyping etc.)
